• Acer eDataSecurity Management
is a handy file encryption utility that protects files
from being accessed by unauthorized persons,
using passwords and advanced encryption
algorithms. It is conveniently integrated with
Windows® Explorer as a shell extension for quick
and easy data encryption/decryption and also
supports on-the-fly file encryption for MSN®
Messenger and Microsoft Outlook®.

• Acer eLock Management
is a security utility that allows users to lock
their removable data, optical and floppy
drives with a password to ensure that data
can't be stolen while the computer is
unattended. It can protect:
— Removable data devices: USB disk drives, USB pen drives, USB flash
drives, USB MP3 players, USB memory card readers, IEEE 1394 disk
drives, and any other removable data devices that can be
mounted as a disk drive when plugged into the system
— Optical drives: any kind of CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drives
— Floppy disk drives: 3.5-inch disks only

• Acer ePerformance Management
is a system optimization tool that boosts the
performance of Acer computers. Improve
application response times, release the

that allows users to select from four preconfigured
power usage profiles, or to
create their own customized profiles. It
contains easy controls for enabling and
disabling system features, creating battery
alarms, and other useful settings.

is a simple utility that allows the user to
select from two of the most common
projector resolutions using an easy onestep
process. Connecting to external
